Production Manager

Soucy Motorsports is looking for a Production Manager to supervise the production operations and their support teams (ex: planning, manufacturing engineering...). His/her objective will be to maximize efficiency, optimize our operations in terms of automation and achieve our ambitious growth objectives. Here's an overview of your tasks: - Develop manufacturing strategy and execute initiatives to achieve the company's strategic objectives and operational excellence in the short, medium and long term - Define the objectives and develop the action plan for the department, ensuring that the organization's growth plan and the subsidiary's strategic plan are respected and achieved - Prepare the operating budget for his/her department based on the objectives to be met and implement cost management initiatives - Supported by his team, see to the revision and constant improvement of the production processes and methods and of the operations layout - Monitor and control the various performance indicators and initiate, with the help of his/her managers, action plans to improve efficiency - Identify, plan and control the implementation of sustainable solutions to achieve the objectives of the production sector (costs, deadlines, quality, etc.) - Coordinate, with engineering, the introduction of new technologies and products - Represent the company on committees with senior managers of the company **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**: - Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering or operations management or equivalent experience - Minimum of 10 years experience in team management in a manufacturing company, including at least 5 years in a supervisory position in a unionized environment - Knowledge of management practices ("Lean manufacturing", Kanban, Kaisen, TPS, 5S) - Strong orientation towards continuous improvement - Bilingualism **WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER**: - Permanent, full-time position - Flexible schedules that allow you to balance your work and your personal life - Group insurance (different plans adapted to your needs) - Registered Retirement Savings Plan with employer contributions - Employee and family assistance program - Social activities.
