The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Peterborough is looking for a resourceful, efficient, and collaborative individual to join our leading wealth management firm as an Associate Advisor.

As an Associate Advisor, you will work with an Investment Advisor team and be responsible for providing proactive advice and support to our clients and the Investment Advisor, helping deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. Identifying new opportunities and helping to grow the business will be a key and exciting part of your role.

**What will you do?**
- Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals across the existing client base
- Support your advisory team with new client acquisition.
- Nurture and manage valuable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners.
- Trading and / or portfolio rebalancing support.
- Financial Planning/myGPS/Wealth Management
- Marketing and business building through hosting client seminars
- Support both the advisory team and our clients throughout the Wealth Management process. Coordinate activities with internal Wealth Management specialists, manage documentation, track progress and follow up.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must Have**
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
- Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) desired or in progress
- LLQP desired or completed within first 2 years of employment
- University degree
- High quality time management and organization skills
- Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English

**Nice to Have**
- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
- Experience in the securities industry is an asset
