Breakfast Attendant

Ensure exemplary guest experience related to service and food quality. Be an integral contributor to the success of the daily breakfast operations. Prepare food and beverage for the meeting room functions. Maintain clean, sanitary kitchen and dining areas.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Be dependable and prompt, arriving on time and ready to work in a clean uniform and a nametag
- Prepare and set up on time all buffet breakfast items required by the Marriott Brand.
- Keep all tables cleared and cleaned throughout all breakfast hours.
- Ensure all foods are kept at safe temperatures at all times.
- Set up meeting rooms as needed and set/serve food & beverage required based on client's contract
- Be Customer-Focus. Greet each guest as they arrive for breakfast based on Marriott standard. Always build rapport with all guests, solving problems when able and reporting any complaints or issues immediately to management for resolution.
- Learn about the hotel's guests through conversations. Pass on any sales leads that are obtained during discussions with guests to management.
- Maintain a clean breakfast area, store food and remove all trash. Take trash out to dumpster as needed. Vacuum and clean carpet daily.
- Continuously look for cost-effective ways to improve breakfast appeal.
- Assists department in maintaining safety equipment and emergency procedures for the safety of all guests and employees.
- Receive and unpack the items as they arrive from food vendors. Ensure proper rotation of stock. Report any damaged product received.
- All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-24 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
