About the team you are joining

You will be joining the IATA Certification team and reporting to the Product Manager, Special Cargo Certifications.
The Assistant Manager will divide his working time evenly to perform the following functions:

- Coordinate the delivery of the special cargo certifications including CEIV Pharma, CEIV Fresh and CEIV Live Animals, participate in business development activities, and contribute to achieve the portfolio financial objectives and grow its sustainably; and
- Provide administrative support to the Consulting department. Perform SAP & back-office tasks for customers and suppliers (OtC & PtP), including but noy limited to, contract processing, billing and collection activities. You will report to the Contract Officer, Consulting for this function.

What your day would be like
- Manage the delivery of the special cargo certification projects to ensure high-quality service to customers including the review and quality assurance of the audit reports prepared by the Independent Validators;
- The delivery of Certification projects includes, amongst other tasks:

- Manage the customer relationship.
- Assign independent validators dedicated to the project and coordinates their intervention. Coordinate or undertake the review of audit reports.
- Ensure on time delivery of audit reports from independent validators.
- Supervise the project delivery (assessment and audits) and to ensure uniformity and consistency in the scope, depth, and quality of the service.
- Coordinate the Training activities with the Training product managers.
- Prepare reports regarding status of project, monthly reports on the project progress, accomplishments, issues, risks and financial status.
- Prepare technical material, reports, presentations, etc. in the frame of the project.
- Provide guidance to customers including support related to ONE Source.
- Evaluate the project performance and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Ensure that all assessment audits are duly coordinated and KPIs are meet.
- Promote the adoption of the portfolio certification programs by the industry, attract new customers, generate leads, prepare proposals, follow-up and manage prospects and negotiate contracts.
- Engage with key accounts to ensure customer retention, renewal of certification, cross-sell and up-sell other certification programs, products and services.
- Prepare reports for senior management regarding status of projects, accomplishments, issues, risks and financial status.
- Suggest business development ideas and follow through to implement agreed ones.
- Contract office tasks:
Review and process OTC & PTP documents in SAP in a timely manner.
- Ensure that documents abide by the IATA Financial Policy Manual (FPM) and SAP rules
- Ensure proper cost & revenue allocation
- Invoice clients and process vendor invoices as per contract schedule
- Perform account reconciliation on a monthly basis
- Coordinate collection efforts for the department
- Perform year-end closing activities

We would love to hear from you if
- University degree (bachelor or postgraduate).
- 5+ years of working experience in air transport industry with at least 2 years of relevant experience in air cargo business and/or operations
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural fast-paced team environment.
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills: able to identify, analyze and resolve issues with a strong sense of attention to details.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple queries simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Customer-centered mindset in professional interactions
- Excellent PC skills, particularity with MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and SharePoint and Power BI;
- Excellent English skills (verbal & written), knowledge of other languages is an asset
