**Position Summary**

Strauss Contracting Services is looking to fill general labourer positions to execute various project development tasks for a project outside the city of Red Deer. Applicants with a strong work ethic, reliable communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset are highly favourable.

As a general labourer, you will be expected to be capable of labour work that entails pushing, pulling, and lifting. You must comply and complete all supervisor instructions to the best of your capabilities. Site work will be conducted in large job crews, demanding a cooperative and respectful attitude throughout the project's development.
- Located in or around Red Deer County
- 1+ year of general construction experience
- Physically capable of maneuvering 50+ lbs
- General experience with basic construction tools
- Has accessible transportation to jobsite
- Demonstrates strong work ethic, adaptability, leadership and communication skills in large crew settings
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ready to deploy **ASAP**

**Mandatory Equipment Required**:

- CSA approved work boots
- Hardhat
- Safety Glasses
- Work Gloves

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execution of assigned job-site tasks
- Compliance with job-site safety standards
- Showing up to job-site able bodied and ready to work

**Project Details**:

- Travel to job-site is required
- Outdoor working environment
- Physically demanding
- Exposure to general construction noises
- Any additional PPE will be provided

**Schedule Options: (Monday-Friday)**

**Salary**: $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
