We are currently seeking an enthusiastic _Sales Associates / Key Holder _for our Moncton location.

**Job Summary**:
The Sales Associate/Key Holder (KH) works as part of a selling team within the Retail Store with the added responsibility of opening or closing of the retail store.

The KH contributes to the smooth, efficient, profitable operation of their store as well as attaining and exceeding the performance objectives and goals.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Define and exceed personal Average Invoice Goals
- Selling of memberships
- Understand and implement Conversational Selling to all customers.
- Follow the culture that customers are the Number #1 Priority.
- Understands and operates the cash register as needed including the selling of gift cards.
- Plays the role of team leader when Retail Manager is not in the store by ensuring targets and goals are communicated to employees.
- Communicate with and keep team informed on sales plans and customer service expectations as decided by Retail Manager
- Informs the Retail Manager of employees that are functioning to store standards as well as non-functioning employees
- Assist in implementing the approved training schedule for staff.
- Keeps inventory organized in store to ensure quick response and customer service.
- Executes store cleaning, dusting of fixtures, racks, product, counter, cleaning of restrooms and stock room
- Keeps displays fresh and seasonal
- Accountable for cash management accuracy of daily sales and deposit.
- Responsible for Cash deposits to be deposited in the bank within 1 - 2 hours of store closing

**Skills & Abilities**
- A passion for educational products, toys, games, arts and crafts, story books and teaching resources for children aged 0-16.
- Experience in retail sales
- Ideally a background in education - Teachers or Early Childhood Educators
- Ability to work in a busy environment with a variety of tasks
- Attention to detail while being accountable for achieving team results
- A strong individual customer service focus
- Professional businesslike attitude
- Working well with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Flexibility in work hours - able to work weekends and week nights

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.25 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
