**JOB SUMMARY**:Manage the necessary sales activities involving distribution, retail and farm customers within the Central Alberta region. Develop and execute annual sales plan to achieve budgeted sales and profit objectives in alignment with overall company objectives.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

Manage all selling and promotional activities in the territory. Manage retail accounts by establishing and maintaining regular contact with retail accounts to promote products and service sales. Train and support distribution and retail account managers on UPL’s product line and coordinate the selling of the product line through the dealer network. Build and support key producer relationships within territory. Develop and implement product/distributor/dealer support programs for territory in conjunction with Technical Sales Manager. Communicate with internal and external customers (distributors, retailers, agricultural consultants, and key growers) to accomplish territory objectives for current products.

Develop annual territory business plan to retain and grow UPL’s portfolio in the territory. Record and communicate significant customer interactions/information, and maintain annual business plan for the territory. Monitor product flow and forecasts, investigate and resolve product complaints. Provide input into sales strategies or tactics to achieve sales and profit objectives.

Responsible for monitoring and adhering to company guidelines for producing individual sales targets, expenses, promotion, travel and entertainment budgets.

Create and deliver internal and external sales presentations, including graphics and handouts. Work closely with immediate supervisor or product manager to identify suitable marketing promotional programs for the territory, obtaining buy-in and approval.
