Labourer/apprentice

Mountain Coast Mechanical is seeking a labourer with a potential of a HD Mechanic apprenticeship to join our team. This position is full time, shop and field based with the possibility of camp work. The successful candite will be driven, self motivated and able to adapt to a variety of tasks and working conditions while following our company values.

**Responsibilities, skills, and experience include but are not limited to**:

- Assist mechanics with equipment repairs and maintenance
- General labour-cleaning equipment, moving tools, equipment and materials, responsible for shop/yard cleanliness
- Effective as a team member and as an individual reporting to management
- Ability to work independently following instructions with little to no supervision
- Motivated to meet targeted schedules and productivity
- Attention to detail
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
- Safely and competently operate a variety of equipment
- Daily documentation and record keeping of all work performed
- Promote a positive image of our company and our values

**Requirements**:

- Familiar with basic maintenance and tools
- Manual labour and working in various weather conditions
- Valid B.C drivers license (air endorsement considered an asset)

**Wage and benefits**
- Minimum wage with potential to increase with proven abilities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $17.75-$29.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
