**What you will be doing in the role of Technical Specialist**:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- Knowledge of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and Flame and Gas systems is considered an asset, but not required.
- Providing training for customers or internal stakeholders such as Account Managers or Application Engineers
- Maintaining strong relationships within factory organizations for technical and commercial support
- Reviewing and contributing to funnel accuracy
- Responsible for driving sales and value programs to maintain the health of the business unit
- Driving initiatives and sales programs to grow the business
- Maintaining industry connections and consider opportunities to expand portfolio with complimentary products
- Participating in industry groups, forums, and tradeshows
- Supporting marketing materials and campaigns for business unit portfolio
- Supporting reporting and periodic business review process for respective business unit portfolio
- Promoting services capability and participate in sales process of above deliverables with Account Managers
- Minimum 60% travel based on assigned territory (within Manitoba and Ontario), and customers, products, or industry
- Maintain sound working relationships with customer’s personnel in various functional departments, such as: maintenance, purchasing and operations
- Help maintain and follow ISO procedures
- Providing a premier level of customer service
- Handling all customer complaints immediately
- Promoting a team approach within Lakeside Process Controls Ltd.

**Knowledge and skills required for the role**:

- Undergraduate Degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Professional
- Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of process control and instrumentation
- Knowledge of health and safety issues and regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Training & presentation skills
- Project management skills
- Industry experience in a technical sales role
- Industry experience in an operating facility
