Snakes & Lattes Annex is seeking a full-time BOH Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adherence to all Snakes & Lattes policies and procedures with the expectation of enforcing these policies upon other employees.
- Prepare food (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits prior to service
- Creating and assigning the Prep Lists and par levels set by the Kitchen Manager
- Review all sanitation and production charts for the kitchen operation
- Ensure that kitchen sanitation and cleanliness is maintained at all times while compiling with all regional sanitation regulations and safety standards. Including but not limited to the following areas:
- walk-in refrigerator or freezer
- reach-in refrigerator and drawers
- prep and dry storage areas
- Be responsible for ensuring menu items and recipes are followed to ensure that all menu items are prepared in high quality,consistent and timely fashion
- Be responsible for in-service delegation of tasks to line personnel and hands on participation during peak periods
- Participate in the storage, maintenance and repair of all kitchen equipment during shift to ensure operational readiness
- Ensuring daily temp checks and food safety logs are filled out and completed
- Wash and sanitize dishes, equipment and utensils as needed if a dishwasher is not on shift
- Accept or reject ingredients based on quality and informing managers or supervisors of any product quality issues
- Complete Daily shift notes/logs
- Complete documentation of employee performance and attendance issues in accordance with company policy and practice, including independently initiating and authorizing any discipline action deemed necessary
- Assisting with the training of new kitchen staff
- Complete other duties designated by the Kitchen Manager and The Executive Chef
Availability on weekday evenings, holidays, and weekends is a must. Snakes & Lattes is a fast-paced and friendly work environment with opportunities for growth.
Must have a minimum of 2-year kitchen experience and knife skills, and be able to lift up to 50 lb.

**Experience**:
- cooking: 2 years (required)
