**About the Team**:
Our Portfolio Administration Team puts the client at the forefront of everything we do. We're dedicated to continually seeking creative solutions to address the exacting needs of high-net worth clients and wealth advisors. We pride ourselves on accuracy, polished interpersonal skills, and timely follow-through.

**Purpose of the Role**:
Are you passionate about finance and want to be a Portfolio Administrator? As the Portfolio Administrator Co-op you will provide accurate and timely back office support to the firm regarding all investment products involved in end to end trade processing. You will gradually learn the role and assist team members during our busiest time of year. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of a wealth management organization and be a valued member of our collaborative team.

This will be an 8-month co-op work term starting in May and ending in December. The role will be based in our Vancouver office.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Daily monitoring of custom programs for new Portfolio Management recommendations.
- Review Portfolio Manager recommendations and input trades into trade ticket systems.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure that trading is accurate and timely.
- Follow up to confirm trade settlements.
- Identify issues and assist in determining corrective action.
- Scanning and updating Portfolio Management recommendation documents for trading group.
- Assisting the firm in meeting its compliance requirements.
- Work with the team on projects and other duties as assigned from time-to-time based on changing business environment and priorities.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer service or client relations experience with internal or external clients.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with good numerical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel (intermediate Excel skills an asset).
- Interest in the financial services industry, with related experience considered an asset.
- A self-starter with the ability to take initiative, think critically, and seek solutions independently.
- Strong organizational, time management, and adaptability skills to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

**Compensation & Benefits Package**:
Our co-op positions offer a competitive market salary of **$26 per hour**, along with additional benefits.
