I am pleased to commend the parish profile for St. Paul’s Church in Brockville, Ontario, for prayerful consideration as they seek a new Incumbent to join them in their mission and ministry. St. Paul’s has a rich tradition of strong lay involvement in the various activities and programs they undertake and fully live into their spiritual vision of “being disciples and making disciples”. Together, we are seeking an Incumbent who loves to inspire and work within a collaborative team setting. In other words, a leader who leads from among rather than from above.

The City of Brockville is situated along the beautiful St. Lawrence River in Eastern Ontario, part of the Thousand Islands chain that is nothing short of a tonic for the soul. Brockville is one of three cities in our diocese and with a population of 22,000, there is a wonderful community atmosphere more akin to a large town where relationships can be easily fostered. We hope that the new incumbent for St. Paul’s will have a heart for growing the community, building partnerships and enjoying the opportunities that ministry within a community such as Brockville will provide.
