**Reports to**: Executive Director of Macaulay Treehouse Day Nursery

The Child Care Program Assistant (CCPA) provides one-on-one support to children with special needs, or is of general assistance to a program that has high needs. The CCPA ensures that program activities are inclusive for all children in the program, specifically those they support. The CCPA will be responsible for modifying any activities to make the learning environment engaging for all students. The CCPA will also ensure that all needs are being met for the child(ren) they specifically support, including feeding and toileting.

**Expectations**:
The applicant selected for this position must have had sufficient experience working with young children, and be able to meet the requirements of the licensing agency. This applicant must also be a sensitive and mature individual who can relate to both children and adults.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma required. Student of DSW or EA program considered an asset
- 2 years experience (preferred but not required)
- Proof of immunizations
- Valid First Aid Level **C** CPR
- Vulnerable sector check

Pay: $21.25-$23.25 per hour
