**About the Opportunity**:
This role focuses on people, and the changes to organizational and team processes, policies and/or procedures, use of new technology, structures, and evolving culture as we continue on a journey of health system transformation. This position provides change management leadership and advice and is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic integrated approach to change management activities, leading to the successful adoption of primary healthcare transformation priorities.
This role helps build and support a culture that promotes the delivery of high-quality primary healthcare through the implementation of broad-scale transformation initiatives that are improving patients’ and providers’ experience.
Demonstrating leadership behaviours and capabilities, the Change Management and Engagement Lead focuses on evidence-based strategic change approaches in support of health system transformation. Working collaboratively, this position ensures that approaches and tactics in support of health system transformation are timely, relevant and effective in upholding the mission and values of Nova Scotia Health and health system partner organizations, and that change activities are targeted where they are most needed to create a world-class healthcare system.
**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Undergraduate degree and/or post-secondary study in business administration, communications, human resources, social/behavioral sciences, education, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a change management role.
- Knowledge of best practice related to change adoption and benefits realization of new projects.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships and influencing decisions and actions.
- Demonstrated success in influencing thinking while demonstrating Nova Scotia Health values and principles.
- Strategic and system-focused thinking with strong analysis and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and organizational skills.
- Experience engaging, mentoring, empowering teams in a participatory environment.
**About You Continued**:
- Ability to build collaborative relationships; proven ability to work effectively with many internal and external partners and the ability to work effectively within cross-departmental teams.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, delivering on budget and on time.
- Ability to effectively organize heavy workload with multiple competing priorities.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- Assets include:
- Change management training and/or certification (e.g. PROSCI, CCMP)
- Project management training and/or certification (e.g. PMP)
- Knowledge of IAP2 principles and practices
- Experience in the health sector
- Working proficiency of French
**Hours**:
- Permanent Full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
- Shifts may include evening, weekends and holidays
This position offers a remote work model opportunity
**Compensation and Incentives**:
$40.15 - $50.18 Hourly
