Requisition ID: 179062 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. **Department Summary** **Role Purpose** The Analyst, QA is responsible to execute the Quality Assurance for the Tangerine FIU, Name Screening and Triage Business Units and for analyzing, defining, and developing reports to support the day-to-day functions of the QA Department in addition to identifying opportunities for local improvements to productivity, decision effectiveness, and the user experience. **Role Accountabilities** - Maintain thorough understanding of AML/ATF capabilities, gaps and opportunities. - Provide analytic support in the development and implementation of QA strategic plans. - Support the ongoing and periodic evaluation of existing and new QA tools and solutions to address changing business needs and emerging risk. - Perform QA reviews and evaluation of business initiatives with respect to AML/ATF implications and formulate insightful guidance and input to our business partners. - Ensure accuracy and effectiveness of QA reviews and suggest periodic enhancements as needed. - Complete process mapping and documentation for QA process as required. - Execute all Quality Assurance cases and complete the documentation of QA results for various types of testing as required while remaining in SLA. - Report and log all findings and non-conformances timely and accurately - Other analytical, data gathering, and statistics related activities as they arise. - Perform QA sampling on regular basis. - Ensure accurate storage of QA documents and proper audit trial. - Other duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications** - Education/Experience - University or College Degree or equivalent work experience - Minimum 2 - 3 years of work-related experience within the Financial Services Industry or a similar AML role. - Specialized Knowledge - Prior QA or audit experience is nice to have - Technical Skills - Computer literacy skills with experience using MS Office Suite - Abilities - Ability to work autonomously under tight timelines - Ability to work in a dynamic environment - Attributes - Strong verbal, written and communication skills - Attention to details and organizational skills **Working Conditions** **Work Location: Must be able to work in Toronto or Mississauga** Location(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
