Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality meals to our customers. **Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and company standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared and served in accordance with portion control guidelines
- Monitor food inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the kitchen manager
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations

**Skills**:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar food service establishment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of food safety principles and practices
- Ability to work well as part of a team

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
