About Us:
FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions (IIS), a division of Teledyne and headquartered in the Greater Vancouver area, is a leader in advanced imaging technologies. We serve 2 rapidly growing markets:
- Machine Vision: We provide imaging products and solutions for quality inspection, measurement, traceability, vision-guided automation, robotics, and intelligent traffic systems.
- People Flow Analytics: Focused on retail analytics, our solutions help measure customer traffic, queue times, and movement patterns - bringing the power of web analytics into the physical world.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our Manufacturing team. This role involves hands-on work in assembling, soldering, packing, and final testing of our imaging products. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and take pride in quality craftsmanship, we’d love to hear from you.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble components using a variety of tools and equipment
- Perform soldering and final product testing
- Package finished products for shipment
- Conduct routine maintenance of tools and workstations
- Identify and report quality issues; contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications:
- Technical education (e.g. BCIT or similar) is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) prevention practices
- Comfortable using manufacturing tools and equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
- Flexible and open to learning new skills
Salary Range:
$32,000.00-$42,600.000
