As a Fabricator at **SolidCarved Surfaces** you will play a crucial role in creating and assembling detailed, high-quality structures and finishes, utilizing your expertise in carpentry, solid surfaces, and installations. This position demands a versatile individual capable of working with diverse materials and advanced tools to meet our high standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read, interpret, and execute blueprints and drawings
- Measure, cut, and assemble wooden and solid surface structures using a variety of hand and power tools, including panel saws
- Fabricate, finish, and install various solid surface materials using our SolidCarved Surfaces techniques, particularly for Mario Romano Walls
- Install low voltage lighting systems as part of the project requirements
- Occasionally travel to project sites for on-site installations
- Ensure all fabricated items adhere to spec and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with safety and health guidelines
- Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure timely completion of projects

**Skills and Attributes**:

- Strong experience in carpentry, adept in using a variety of hand and power tools
- Proficient in fabricating and installing solid surface materials, with specific skills in seaming, bonding, polishing and finishing
- Ability to install low voltage lighting systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
- Capable of interpreting technical documents and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to project changes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in carpentry or fabrication highly preferred
- Proven experience as a fabricator, carpenter, or similar role, with extensive use of hand and power tools
- Certifications in carpentry, woodworking, or related fields are an asset
- Experience with solid surface materials such as Corian, quartz, or similar; certification in training programs an asset
- Valid driver’s license required

**How to Apply**:
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
