**Responsibilities**:

- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Monitor and document residents’ health status, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
- Foster positive relationships with residents and their families, promoting a person-centered approach to care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification as a Health Care Aide in British Columbia (Registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry required).
- Valid Food Safety certificate required.
- Valid First Aid Level C certificate required.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $29.83 per hour
