Marina Point Village is currently seeking a Temporary Part-Time Door Screener to ensure Covid-19 protocols are being adhered to. The primary role of the Screener is to screen and greet all visitors coming to Marina Point.

**Responsibilities**:
Screening all individuals entering designated entrance for symptoms, signs and travel based on the provided screening guidelines (consists of asking questions on screening form +/- temperature reading)
- Utilizing the screening tools provided to assess eligibility for entrance, including screening for signs and symptoms based on the screening tool
- Greet and assist, direct and/or escort family members visiting Marina Point
- Maintain flow at the entrance to ensure physical distancing
- Ensuring all visitors entering follow proper precautionary measures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment when required
- Ensure all persons entering follow proper precautionary measures
- Act as a liaison between staff, residents and family members
- Support team in other infection prevention and control related duties as trained/assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Must be available to work varied shifts (Days/Evenings/Weekends)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with a variety of staff
- Physically capable of performing the duties of the position and tasks including bending, turning, lifting, walking and standing for long periods of time
- Possess the ability to take initiative and work with mínimal supervision
- Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (mask, gloves, gown) if required
- Previous customer service experience an asset
- Reliability and punctuality are required
- Willingness and ability to learn new tasks
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector dated within 6 months
- Negative TB test
- Our policy on Covid-19 Vaccination is currently placed on abeyance. This means that the Policy on Covid-19 Vaccination is paused at this time; however, it is not cancelled and could be re-instated at a future date if public health conditions warrant it, or through guidance from federal, provincial, or local public health authorities. The evolution of the virus and the course of the disease activity are difficult to predict and it may be necessary to reinstate the Policy in full or in part, on short notice._
