True Büch Kombucha is Canada’s leading small-batch kombucha producer, focused on crafting premium, organic, and sustainable products. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on, experienced **General Manager** to lead our kombucha production facility with a strong focus on operational excellence, people leadership, and food safety.

As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the entire production operation, ensuring consistent quality, safe food practices, and efficient workflows. You’ll lead a team of passionate people and work closely with ownership to scale production sustainably, meet compliance standards, and support the company’s strategic goals.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Facility Operations & Leadership**
- Lead daily production, packaging, and distribution activities in a food-grade facility
- Review, develop and implement SOPs, preventive maintenance plans, and production schedules
- Hire, train, and manage staff to foster a high-performance, safety-first culture
- Monitor performance metrics (yield, waste, downtime, efficiency) and implement continuous improvements

**Food Safety & Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations
- Lead internal audits and maintain documentation for inspections and certifications
- Drive a food safety culture through training, monitoring, and accountability
- Troubleshoot and resolve non-conformities or incidents

**Supply Chain & Inventory**
- Manage relationships with ingredient and packaging suppliers
- Oversee inventory management and purchasing in alignment with production needs
- Forecast raw material demand and ensure timely procurement to avoid disruptions
- Coordinate outbound logistics to customer warehouses, retail locations, and home delivery

**Strategic Oversight**
- Work with ownership and finance to manage budgets, COGS, and reporting
- Identify cost savings and process efficiencies to improve profitability
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and R&D on product innovation and planning

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of leadership experience in food or beverage production (kombucha, dairy, brewing, or fermentation preferred)
- Deep understanding of food safety regulations and best practices; HACCP certification strongly preferred
- Proven track record managing people, processes, and compliance in a high-output facility
- Familiarity with ERP systems and digital inventory/production tools
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
