**Accounting Bookkeeper, Finance Department**
Full Time| 37.5 Hours weekly| $24.72 - $26.23

EFry hope and help for women is seeking an individual with the necessary job skills and 3+ years’ experience to provide support to the Agency’s finance department. This is a multi-faceted position that requires a high level of

concentration, speed and accuracy. The successful incumbent would report directly to the Director of Finance or designate and work 37.5 hours/week on site at Head Office location - 44 Peel Centre Drive, Suite 200 in Brampton.

Areas of Responsibility:

- Calculate and prepare cheques for payable invoices and employee expenses
- Calculate and prepare online payments for utilities, credit cards and other invoices
- Prepare and process journal entries and reconcile accounts, maintain general ledgers
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using SAGE 300
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports for month-end and yearend reporting
- Calculate and prepare monthly / quarterly billings for Agency funders and follow-up with outstanding accounts
- Prepare and process bank deposits
- Maintain vendor files, answer vendor inquiries
- Other duties as assigned by the Director or designate
- A degree and/or diploma from a University or College in a related field
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience; knowledge of SAGE 300 would be considered an asset
- Strong computer skills and excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with diverse community groups and other stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment, be self-motivated and meet various deadlines
- Proficiency in the French language is considered an asset
- Proof of vaccination
