**Immediate requirement in Mathnasium of Evanston**.

We are looking for part-time math instructors to fill our team with those who possess a passion for math and who want to share their enthusiasm by inspiring others.

**About Mathnasium**

Mathnasium of Evanston provides supplementary after-school math instruction for students in a positive and encouraging environment. Curriculum and materials are predetermined for each student based on the student's specific strengths and problem areas. Instructors are trained to utilize Mathnasium's proprietary teaching materials and techniques, the Mathnasium Method, to deliver a customized learning plan designed to address each student's needs, whether they started out far behind or are already ahead in math. Our instruction approach goes beyond traditional math tutoring to develop understanding and build a love for math.

At Mathnasium, we specialize in just one thing, teaching math in a way that makes sense to kids. The learning centre is a fun and supportive environment, encouraging kids at all skill levels.

As part of the Mathnasium team, you can expect to earn a steady income working in a fun, collaborative environment at our learning centre in Evanston (_no travel is required to student’s house_).

**Qualifications and Skills**

Required Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a secondary school (Undergraduate or Graduate school)
- Exceptional math skills through Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus
- Ability to teach math to students in all grades from 1-12
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
- Energetic and confident personality

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students
- Ability to teach students in upper level high school math courses
