The Horticulture Technician Nursery & Greenhouse Associate is responsible for working as a team member, with various areas of the business, completing day-to-day duties including, helping customers and answering queries, providing information on products, preparing orders and deliveries, loading and unloading deliveries or returns, operating machinery and equipment, watering plants, etc.

**Job Responsiblities**
- Greet customers and answer queries on products in Nursery.
- Provide information on products and services to customers.
- Assist customers with product selection.
- Assist with receiving shipments, verify counts and complete documentation.
- Ensure that nursery and greenhouse plants are maintained; watering, re-potting, etc.
- Assist in growing annuals and perennials.
- Assist and/or complete computer tasks as necessary. Including using excel, POS systems, etc.
- Clean, organize and maintain sales area and displays.
- Participate and ensure Health and Safety compliance.
- Create a positive shopping experience for customers
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Horticulture training is preffered
- 1-2 year of garden centre, horticulture, growing, and/or landscape retail experience recommended
- Experience with operating machinery and equipment preferred.
- Good organization skills. Able to manage time effectively.
- Positive and friendly attitude, works well in a team environment and can be a team leader.
- Flexible availability. Days, and weekends, including some holidays as required.
- Able to comfortably lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Able to lift, bend and twist. Physical abilities to include all aspects and tasks related to plant care, maintenance, nursery set up etc. Required to work indoors and outdoors. Safety boots required.
