**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients' feet and lower limbs.
- Diagnose conditions related to the foot, ankle, and lower extremities, including injuries, infections, and chronic diseases.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include surgical interventions, orthotic fittings, or conservative management strategies.
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including orthopedics, endocrinology, and physical therapy to provide holistic care.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and botulinum toxin treatment as necessary.
- Educate patients on preventive care practices and health coaching to promote foot health.
- Stay updated on advancements in podiatry through clinical research and continued education.
**Experience**
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license to practice podiatric medicine.
- Experience with EHR systems; familiarity with Epic is preferred.
- Background in inpatient care, outpatient services, or urgent care settings is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to podiatry and general healthcare practices.
- Experience in critical care or perioperative settings is a plus.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 11 months
Pay: $24.06-$128.92 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
