**George Wakefield Foods Inc.** is a distributor of fresh and frozen food products. Our diverse product lines contain everything from fruit juice, milk, and cheese, to our main product line of ice cream. We have operations spanning from Saskatchewan to Ontario, with our head office located in Winnipeg, MB.

**Title: Warehouse Worker**

**Hours: 40 hours/week plus overtime, 7:00pm to 7:00am, Monday to Sunday**

**Address: Unit B - 1225 Plessis Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Oversee loading and unloading of products
- Prepare and complete orders according to schedule (load, wrap, pack, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Keep clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies to supervisor
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts, end lifts, hand trucks
- Adhere and comply to all company policies and SOP standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Employment Requirements**:

- Will need to pass a criminal record check
- Must be physically able to lift and carry 50 lbs
- **Will need to work most of their shift in a freezer picking orders on a man-up lift**
- Must have good English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be willing to communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
- Must have 1 year of forklift experience and be willing to maintain forklift certification
- Warehouse experience is required - 1 year minimum
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
