Coquitlam, Canada Apple Tree Caregiver Services Ltd. Full time

**Overview**:
Apple Tree Caregiver Services Ltd. is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes located in Coquitlam or Metro Vancouver area, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

**Work location: Coquitlam and other area in Metro Vancouver**
- You will visit one of our clients in **Coquitlam** (**30 min by bus from Coquitlam Centre**)
**- Minimum 4 working hours per visit.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients

**Requirements**:

- Experience or certification as a nurse or Health Care Assistant is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, cancer patient care and senior care is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with mínimal supervision.

**You must have a legal status to work in Canada (Citizen, PR or an open work permit).**

**We do NOT support an LMIA.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.50-$21.50 per hour
