Irrigation Technician

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
- Dig trenches for irrigation lines using hand tools and power tools.
- Build and repair components of irrigation systems as needed.
- Regularly inspect irrigation systems for leaks, clogs, or other issues, performing necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate irrigation needs for various projects.
- Educate clients on proper irrigation practices and system maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Take part in other landscape construction duties (pavers, sod installation, flagstones, planting..etc)

**Skills**
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to irrigation installation and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively.
- Experience in landscape maintenance, with a focus on irrigation practices.
- Ability to dig trenches safely and efficiently for system installation.
- Familiarity with building components necessary for effective irrigation setups.
- Knowledge of gardening principles to support optimal plant health through proper watering techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
