**What to expect**:
The purpose of the Cybersecurity Manager role at the CWB Group is to safeguard the organization's information assets by establishing and enforcing robust cybersecurity policies and frameworks that align with industry best practices and compliance mandates. This position is pivotal in proactively identifying and mitigating information security risks, overseeing the response to cyber incidents, and ensuring the resilience of the IT infrastructure. The role serves as a guardian of the CWB Group's data integrity, a leader in promoting cybersecurity awareness throughout the organization, and an advocate for a culture of continuous security improvement, thereby upholding the Group’s reputation for excellence and trust in the welding and joining industry.

This includes:

- Develop, implement, and manage the organization's cybersecurity strategy, policies, and procedures.
- Lead the Cybersecurity team to monitor security events, respond to incidents, and mitigate risks.
- Lead cybersecurity awareness training programs for all employees.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including security contractors and IT vendors, to secure the IT environment.
- Report to senior management on the status of the information security program and risks.

Other duties as assigned.

In this position, you will report to the Director, IT and will be working remotely from your home office in Canada. CWB has adopted a remote-first working model, where employees will work from their home office, servicing the client within their specified areas either remotely or in person. We are embracing radical flexibility, where employees are encouraged to work a schedule that works best for them, their team, and their clients.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in an information security role with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Demonstrated experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or others.
- In-depth knowledge of network security architecture, cloud security, and systems security.
- Strong understanding of risk management methodologies and regulatory requirements pertaining to information security, privacy, and data protection.
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- This is a remote, work from home position and will be required to be in office from time to time
- Travel might be required from time to time
