**The Job: Junior Purchaser**

As a Junior Purchaser, you will assist the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing materials and services to ensure the company secures high-quality products at competitive prices. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position with the requirement to commute to work reliably.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Assist in purchasing raw materials, commercial items, shop tools, and other supplies.
- Help maintain vendor relationships and follow up on orders.
- Support sending out RFQs (Requests for Quotes) to secure competitive pricing and lead times.
- Assist in issuing purchase orders (POs) and managing purchase documentation.
- Collaborate with the senior purchasing team on vendor management and sourcing strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or College.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is an asset but not required.

**Skills**:

- Basic negotiation skills and an interest in developing vendor relationships.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with EPICOR is a plus but not required).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

- Secondary School (required)
