Budtender

We are looking for Budtenders to provide excellent customer service in helping customers select suitable cannabis products, while maintaining the Mellow Leaf brand. We are looking for skilled sales people, not cashiers.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome customers
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis accessories that may compliment their needs.
- Educating customers on the safe use of their cannabis products
- Processing customers payments using the EPOS system
- Ensuring that the store is clean and well-organized at all times
- Completing all required tasks of the business pertaining to standard operating procedures
- Working alongside Store Manager to meet business objectives
- Ensuring the sales floor is well stocked and merchandised per direction from management
- Adhere to all company training, operational standards and procedures (education, merchandising, COVID-19 risk mitigation, cleanliness, security, checklists etc.)
- Adhere to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers including federal and provincial legislation.
- Ensure applicable sales are tracked and daily targets are achieved

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Experience in sales is an asset
- Being able to multi-task
- Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
- You are passionate about cannabis
- Sound knowledge of Cannabis
- Computer literacy
- Demonstrates a professional image
- Open to feedback and growth within the team
- Demonstrates a high level of accountability
- Punctual and reliable
- Commitment to providing excellence in customer service.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Age 19 years old
- Criminal Records check (level 2 required)
- Ability to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends
- Understanding that this is a highly regulated industry which requires strict compliance.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
