**Responsibilities**:

- Physically digging holes and trenches by hand using tools such as shovels, picks, etc.
- Pulling cable through conduit or laying in trenches
- Operation of gas and electrically power equipment (i.e., saws, drills, jumping jacks, generators)
- Safely load and unload supplies and equipment from vehicles
- Maintain site safety and traffic control, assess work environment for potential health and safety hazards
- Other duties as required by manager

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License and a good driver’s abstract
- Minimum 6-12 months of related outside labor experience in telecommunication or Construction/landscaping.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, winter-summer
- Able to safely lift 50-75lbs
- Good verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to read blueprint is an asset
- Ability to backup a trailer

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
