We are currently seeking an **Assistant Produce Manager** to support the Produce department at our **Rosedale** location. If you have a passion for food and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**

As an Assistant Produce Manager, you will help lead a passionate produce team and support the department in daily operations and merchandising. You will:

- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Produce department
- Support the Produce Manager in supervising and mentoring team members
- Stock, rotate, and maintain the quality and appearance of produce displays
- Process vendor orders and receive inventory according to company guidelines
- Monitor shrink, waste, and inventory levels to ensure optimal performance
- Uphold food safety and cleanliness standards throughout the department
- Ensure an outstanding customer experience by providing product knowledge and support on the floor
- Assist in training new hires and contribute to ongoing team development
- Maintain compliance with company policies, signage, pricing, and merchandising standards

**What You Bring**
- **2+ years** of experience in grocery retail, preferably in produce
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is an asset
- A passion for fresh food and an eye for merchandising
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Food Safety Handlers Certification is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold environments (coolers/freezers)
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
