**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the role of the Maintenance Planner is to manage the planning activities of the maintenance department. He will be responsible for planning corrective and preventive work orders related to the daily activities of maintenance employees on the four shifts.
In your role, your main responsibilities will be:
- Ensure and optimize the monitoring of an up-to-date preventive maintenance program
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to be performed on each shift
- Produce reports on the department's performance indicators
- Coordinate preventive tasks during shutdown periods (maintenance period)
- Participate, with the maintenance supervisor, in purchasing parts, receiving and keeping inventory
- Coordinate with production and planning planned line or equipment shutdowns
- Follow up and schedule subcontractors and external service calls
- Create and track department work orders
- Review and prioritize all incoming work requests and view work on site for clarification of work to be performed
- Adhere to and support all health and safety policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices
- Perform other related tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager
- Follow up on inspections related to building equipment and the factory in general
- Ensure that we have the necessary parts in stock
- Prepare the requisitions for the purchase of the parts necessary for the work
- Communicate the preparation of the parts to the store clerk
**Qualifications**:
- 5 years of Experience in manufacturing maintenance planning;
- D.E.P. in mechanics or electromechanics or other relevant experience profile
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft AX (an asset)
- Knowledge of resource planning system
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical parts
- Excellent planning and execution skills
- Be an excellent communicator
- Good ability to work under pressure
- French / English (functional) - English is required in order to service our customers and suppliers based in the United States and outside Quebec
