Job Description

**Bricklayers wanted now for an immediate start. **We are looking for Bricklayers short-term and long-term that would like to work for a construction company that is specialized in the design, creation, installation, and restoration of brickwork throughout the lower mainland.

We need Bricklayers for commercial and residential brick and block work including but not limited to, face, size, cut, trim, and lay brick or concrete blocks, or other masonry units to construct or repair various masonry structures.
- Analyzing and interpreting building plans.
- Interpreting work orders and determining the required materials.
- Measuring distance from reference points.
- Calculating angles and determining the vertical and horizontal alignment of courses.
- Laying bricks using mortar as a binder and a trowel to level.
- Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement.
- Working safely on scaffolds and swing stages at various heights.
- Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- bricklaying: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Red Seal (preferred)
