Join the AGF Team We are looking for an Accounts Payable Technician to support our finance team under the guidance of the Divisional Controller. In this role, you will handle the recording of purchase invoices and the issuance of checks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. This is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid work arrangement, based at our Longueuil office (2270 Rue Garneau, Longueuil, QC J4G 1E7). In short, our product is everywhere around us In Québec city, we have contributed to tons of projects, literally From the Île d'Orléans Bridge, the Videotron Centre, the Fleur de Lys, and beyond, our expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including institutional, industrial, civil engineering, commercial, and residential. **About the Position - Roles & Responsibilities**: - Record purchase invoices and credit notes and match them with delivery notes, receiving reports, and purchase orders; - Reconcile suppliers’ monthly account statements; - Contact suppliers and follow up on payments; - Prepare and validate various monthly purchase reports and others as required; - Issue checks and send them to suppliers; - Process expense accounts, petty cash, and credit card transactions; - Post expense accounts in the accounting system; - Perform any other tasks as requested; - Diploma in Accounting (or equivalent professional studies); - 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role; - Functional English and French; - Knowledge of an integrated management system is a strong asset; - Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships; - Reliability and flexibility; - Any combination of education and experience deemed equivalent will be considered; **What we offer**: - Full insurance coverage (health, dental, and vision) from day one; - Group RRSP with employer contribution (4%); - Annual wage increases based on both company and individual performance and annual bonus program; - Telemedicine program and employee assistance program from day one; - Company Wellness Plan Reimbursement: $600 annually for physical activities to promote health and wellness; - Training offered & advancement opportunities; - Paid vacation and paid christmas holidays; - 5 paid sick days and statutory holidays; - Years of service recognition program; - On-site gym; - Free on-site parking; - Corporate discounts (ski resorts, golf, car rentals, furniture stores, etc.).
