Maintenance Repair Service is a dynamic and growing commercial repair company in the Ottawa area. With a staff 50+ employees, MRS is one of the larger Maintenance service providers specializing in commercial service for the retail industry. Since its inception, MRS has grown into a one-stop repair outfit, providing quality solutions for all maintenance and repair needs. We now have fifteen specialized divisions, each providing us with the required expertise to service a very broad array of retail maintenance needs

MRS is dedicated to continual improvement and is always searching for ways to improve internal systems using the latest technology and work processes to deliver the absolute highest possible customer service.

We are looking for an eager plumber to join our team to help contribute to our continued success.

MAIN DUTIES
- Respond to plumbing service calls, including leaks, drain blockages, sump pump issues, blocked toilets/urinals, replacement of faucets, hot water tanks and boilers, troubleshooting plumbing systems.
- Installation, maintenance, and annual inspection of backflow preventers, City of Ottawa surveys for premise isolation.
- Maintenance and repair to cold water booster pumps, pressure reducing valves, sump pumps (controls), and pits.
- Installation, setup, and calibration of domestic hot water mixing stations
- Modifications, repairs, Installation of various piping systems including copper, PEX, plastic drainage, Sch 40 black pipe, cast iron.
- Use of CCTV and locator system to inspect piping, knowledge of a different variety of cabling and flushing equipment.
- Small scale drain flushing projects
- Provide after-hours on-call emergency service (If needed)
- Completion of documentation required as part of our customer service process

QUALIFICATIONS
- Ontario licensed Plumber
- Cross Connection certification (optional)
- Minimum 3-years experience as a licensed plumber
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Strong customer service and team player skills

**Experience**:

- Plumbing: 3 years (preferred)
- License: red seal (preferred), Plumber (required),
