**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Decorate desserts with attention to detail, ensuring aesthetic appeal and quality.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients and mixing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and interacting with customers in a friendly manner.
- Package baked goods for sale, ensuring proper presentation and freshness.
- Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety of products served.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in baking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling certificate is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience in food preparation and cooking is a plus.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in baking and food preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Living closely is preferred. (Oakville area)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
