Our program currently consists of four Hospitalist lines covering 15-18 patients of mixed acuity. This position is 7 days on, and 7 days off, with 8:00 am to 5:00 pm shifts, and call required 2 to 3 nights per week of work. Our site is close knit, provides ample support and a rewarding work experience. **Responsibilities**: - be accountable for appropriate workload and practice - provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level heath care - operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority - participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities **Expected Hours**: **Qualifications**: - all applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS) - coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), or proof of alternative coverage - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) **Community Details**: The Town of Bridgewater is located along the LaHave River and is surrounded by the coastal beaches and fishing communities of the south shore.
