**Responsibilities**:
Location: Victoria, BC
**Salary**: $25.00/hr
Currently looking to add to our team, we have immediate openings for delivery assistants. Accompany our drivers on their delivery routes and help them deliver 18.9L water bottles to our commercial and residential customers. If you are able to work both independently and in a team, are physically able to perform strenuous, repetitive tasks, and are looking to work **Monday - Friday (NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS)**, this role is for you
- Deliver product to customers in a professional, safe and timely manner by wearing the Company uniform and using appropriate safety equipment
- Drive responsibly and within posted limits obeying all rules of the road bearing in mind that you are representing the Company by way of a large moving billboard
- Maintain a drivers’ log book on a daily basis
- Observe the maximum load guidelines for your vehicle
- Count and verify your load with warehouse or dispatch personnel
- Complete all customer deliveries on a daily basis or alternately contact the customer or leave them a message as to when to expect delivery and reschedule the calls as required
- Responsible for any cash collected from customers
- Follow the posted check in procedure at the end of every shift
- Any other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- Class 5 driver's license required (airbrake endorsement is a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis
- Customer orientation
- Must be able to lift 18.9L bottles regularly
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Multi-tasker and highly motivated self-starter
- English, oral communication skills
High school or General Education Diploma
