OC Transport is a rapidly growing Calgary based transportation company that specializes in moving construction equipment. We move everything from zoom booms and scissor lifts, construction equipment such as excavators and loaders, sea cans and more. Most of the work is done locally in Calgary and the surrounding areas, but also to our neighbouring provinces.

OC Transport is looking to hire a Dispatch Co-ordinator to join our team.

- **JOB TITLE**: Dispatch Co-ordinator

**JOB OBJECTIVE**: To assist in the daily operations of OC Transport.

This position will be responsible to report the Operations/ Dispatch Manager (ODM) at OC Transport.

This is a full time position, with a work week of Monday to Friday. 9:30 - 6:00pm.

**DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Dispatch Coordinator’s role will be to:

- Scheduling of trucks and orders including the scheduling boards and all necessary paperwork.
- Check load boards for back hauls and assist with finding loads to keep equipment utilization rate up.
- Set up drivers and start times for the following day.
- Permits. Knowing what our current permits are and ordering any specialized permits as required.
- Maintain and keep paperwork flow organized and systems running effectively.
- Customer Quotes.
- Keep the CRM and all necessary data entered.
- Monitor database for customer account status.
- Onboarding and Training of Employees on our paperwork processes.
- Oversee Incident Reports.
- Maintain daily reports as necessary.
- Assist the team daily as needed.
- Lead by example in the behaviours and culture of OC Transport.
