**POSITION**: Dish Machine Operator/Pot Washer

Part-Time

**SHIFTS/HOURS**:8**, **7 & 6 hr shifts, days/evenings**

(Including some stats and vacation coverage) _Specifically looking for Dayshift/Afternoon/Evening availability_

**RATE OF PAY**:Start** **1295hrs** **2590hrs**

$22.29 $22.56 $22.77

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Completion of the Food Service Worker (FSW) training program offered by Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts & Technology
- Food Handler’s Certificate (Applicants not currently certified would be required to obtain certification within 3 months of accepting position)
- Ability to tolerate environment with varying temperatures
- Ability to push, pull and bend
- Good attendance record
- Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

**Food Handler’s Certificate**

We do require all applicants to have a completed Food Handler’s Certificate. The Certificate provides quality knowledge about safe food handling, as well as thoroughly prepares learners for the food handler certification exam. There are various online paid programs that offer the Food Handler’s Certificate and it can be completed in less than a day

**Food Services Worker Program**

Applicants must have completed or currently enrolled in a Food Services Worker Program which provides critical knowledge for food safety, preparation and nutrition. It seeks to address the staffing and training needs for Dietary Aides within the healthcare system in Ontario.
