Temporary Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist
Grand Erie District School Board represents more than 27,000 students in 58 elementary schools and 14 secondary schools within the City of Brantford and the counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk, as well as students from Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. With a dedicated staff of more than 2,900, Grand Erie is committed to learning, leading and inspiring. Head office is located in Brantford, Ontario.
**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Pathology is required
- Verification of post-secondary education (diploma/degree or original transcript) will be required
- Registration in the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) is mandatory
- Experience in an educational system is preferred
- Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license is required
- Must be proficient in the use of computers including digital assessment practices
- Must be knowledgeable about a tiered approach to intervention
- Demonstrated success working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in a publicly funded school board an asset
**Job Specifications**
**Hours of Work**
- 17.5 hours per week for 0.5 FTE
**Rate of Pay**
- $41,227 to $48,281 annual salary
$41,227 to $45,929 starting salary
A competitive benefits plan is available through a provincial benefits trust plan
**Effective Date**
- As soon as can be mutually arranged, until June 30, 2025
