Freson Bros., an Alberta-owned and operated fresh food retail chain,has an opportunity for individuals as Catering Server. Reporting to the Catering and Hospitality Specialist, the Catering Server position will assist in the efficient execution of Events and Banquets that are hosted by Catering by Freson Bros.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the transportation of food to events
- Welcome all guests with a sincere greeting
- Serve meals to guests of the event
- Serving alcoholic beverages may be required
- Assist in the cleaning up after events
- Scheduling is based on the volume of events and event attendance
- Often on weekends and evenings
- Focused on Hospitality Excellence
- Ability to effectively communicate with Catering Team and Event Guests
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Focused on active listening
- Experience with food preparation and serving is preferred
- Excels in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for banquet events
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- ProServe Certification is an asset
- Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License is an asset

**Position Details**:

- Position Type: Part-Time, Casual
- Work Environment: Event or Banquet Location
- Salary Range: $18-20 / hour
