Stack Brewing officially opened its doors to the Sudbury community in June of 2013. Since then, Stack has won several provincial and national awards from the Ontario Brewing Awards and the Canadian Brewing Awards. Our brewery has gone through many expansions to meet the high demand for quality craft beer in Northern Ontario and has recently started to distribute product throughout Ontario.

**Responsibilities**

• Maintain all brewery production documentation accurately and precisely.
• Performs fermentation, maturation processing duties, beer transfers, dry hopping, vessel cleanings, cellar checks, CIP operation and yeast handling.
• Responsible for the handling of raw materials.
• Product development and improvement
• Proficient use of brewery management software
• Teamwork with brewing and packaging team members for seamless product flow.
• Procurement of applicable ingredients and consumables as needed
• Ensure quality via standard testing procedures as needed.
• Operating the brewery efficiently and safely while closely following specified guidelines

**Skills Needed to Succeed**

• Time/priority management

• Penchant for cleanliness
• Attention to quality
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work with a team.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the technical aspects of brewing beer

**Experience**

• Completion of secondary school.
• Post-secondary education in Brewing Science, Microbiology or Chemistry will be considered an asset.
• Experience in the food or beverage processing industry will be considered an asset.
