Verka Food International Ltd. is the largest South Asian food wholesaler in Canada, with over 15 years of experience as a leading importer, distributor, and manufacturer of high-quality Indian ethnic food products. As a national wholesaler, we supply the top four largest retailers in Canada - Costco, Walmart, Sobeys, and Loblaws. Additionally, we serve an extensive network of independent ethnic stores across Canada.

**Key Responsibilities: -**
- Schedule shipments and communicate with shipping providers/carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless operations and on-time deliveries.
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists.
- Ensure smooth order processing by creating shipping documents, tracking shipments, and providing timely updates to customers.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to streamline logistics operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate and implement cost-effective solutions for transportation, and delivery processes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

**Qualifications: -**
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain coordination, preferably within the food industry or related sectors. (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Proficiency in business software (e.g., QuickBooks, Dynamics) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, freight documentation, and inventory management.
- Excellent attention to detail, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
