What are the details?
- Day Shift - 7:00AM to 3:00PM
- Monday to Friday
- Pay rate of $22.50/hr

What does the job entail?
Set-up of all Required Machines/Packaging
- Set up pots on presses for packaging department
- Set up automatic packaging machinery in both sealants and coatings
- Keep all follower plates and related packaging equipment clean
- Maintain pumps, take apart, clean and replace packing and seals when needed
- Replace and rebuild pneumatic cylinders
- Set up and clean all packaging equipment
- Parts cleaning
- Requisition required materials when necessary, prior to running out
- Liaise with Maintenance for assistance with difficult repairs
- Follow schedule as set out by the supervisor
- Take out all production area garbage to bin including recycling

Packaging of Sealants and Coatings
- Labelling of all materials as required by SOP and/or customer requirement
- Filling pails both manually and automatically
- Total awareness of all packaging specific requirements from labelling to boxes and all other requirements
- Perform all required quality checks
- Monitor packaging inventory and supplies and inform Supervisor of shortages
- Clean and operate all packaging printers
- Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure good work flow of product and to resolve quality issues that arise
- Completion of all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Follow schedule as set out by the supervisor

- Good judgement and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to push full mixing pot following prescribed ergonomic practices
- Must be able to wear a respirator
- Able to work in a confined space and at heights (30 ft)
