**The Role**:
We are looking to add a **Production Planner** to our team

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepares daily production schedule based on requirements.
- Communicates daily production priorities to Supervisors and Lead Hands.
- Participates in weekly labour requirements meeting and provides input based on forecast.
- Looks for opportunities to maximize production efficiency by analyzing production trends and minimizing change overs.
- Monitors and updates production schedule daily to ensure customer requirements and shipping schedules are being met.
- Participates in cross-functional team meetings and communicates any concerns that will negatively impact production schedule.
- Schedules tool trials based on requests.
- Co-ordinate machine and tool availability with maintenance department as required.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as required.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
- minimum of 2 years.
- Experience with ERP systems. Previous experience with PLEX is considered an asset.
- Computer literate
- word, excel.
- Proven ability to multi-task.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Production Planning: 2 years (preferred)
- ERP systems: 1 year (preferred)
- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
