**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe cooking environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
- Participate in menu planning and development by providing input based on customer feedback.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in Italian kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field.
