**Schedule**: Thursdays, 9 AM - 5 PM (for 5 consecutive weeks)

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced **SQL Instructor** to join our faculty in Montreal. The instructor will be responsible for delivering a structured SQL course, providing hands-on training, and guiding students through fundamental to advanced SQL concepts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging and interactive **SQL training sessions** every Thursday from **9 AM to 5 PM** for **five consecutive weeks**.
- Teach SQL concepts including **database design, querying, stored procedures, indexing, optimization, and performance tuning**.
- Provide hands-on training using industry-standard databases such as **MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server**.
- Assist students in understanding complex queries and database management techniques.
- Evaluate student progress through assessments, assignments, and real-world case studies.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Stay updated with the latest SQL trends and best practices to improve course content.

**Requirements**:

- Must be **physically present in Montreal** during the contract period.
- Proficiency in **SQL, relational database management systems (RDBMS), and data modeling**.
- Experience working with **MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or other database platforms**.
- Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed in database technologies.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field**.
- Industry certifications in **SQL, database administration, or data engineering** are an asset.
- Experience with **cloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL)** is a plus.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $55.00-$80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 per week

Flexible language requirement:

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
